About Keith Wilder, CAPS, CGP

Keith Wilder started a remodeling company with 20 years of construction experience specializing in additions, decks, siding and general home improvements. Over the years he grew his business into Wilder Construction LLC and has successfully been building energy-efficient custom homes for the past 13 years. Wilder maintains a skilled crew that designs, builds, remodels and restores residential homes.

Keith Wilder is the current President of the Tri-County Homebuilders Association, a Chapter of the Spokane Home Builders Association. As President, Keith has worked to promote and protect the local building industry, provide networking opportunities, plus stand by government legislation for builders, developers, sub-contractors, suppliers and industry service providers in the Tri-County Washington area (Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille).

Keith Wilder is also a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). As a CAPS Professional, Wilder knows the strategies and techniques for designing and building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environments for comprehensive and practical aging-in-place solutions. Keith goes beyond design to address the codes and standards, common remodeling expenditures and projects, product ideas and resources needed for home modifications of maturing adults. Aging in place means remaining in one’s home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age, income or ability level. It’s about the pleasure of living in a familiar environment throughout one’s maturing years and the ability to enjoy the familiar daily rituals and special events that enrich all our lives. It means the reassurance of being able to call a house a home for a lifetime.

As green and high-performance construction turns to the mainstream, experienced green industry professionals seek an educational designation that signifies their long-standing commitment to and experience with sustainable building and remodeling. Keith Wilder is a Certified Green Professional (CGP), which are builders, remodelers and other industry specialists who incorporate green building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. This includes:

Energy Efficiency

Resource Conservation

Water Conservation

Indoor Air Quality
